We keep the Stormclaw because it has an energized cell that gives us a higher percentage of weapon loading speed. These include Drask, Nayzaga and Stormclaw. And then a unique effect that we love where the continuous use of special attacks generates icy spirits that add 50 additional damage and a small amount of icy damage to your next attack. We are left with the Boreus sword that has a very interesting cell in conditioner that gives points of regeneration of endurance. Among them we find the sword of Pangar, Boreus and Skraev. It also has a very interesting unique effect where the eighth shot in quick succession deals 250 additional damage and a large amount of igneous damage. The Hellion counts on a cell of domination that according to how we have improved it potentiates us the damage against stunned behemoths. We have the Charrogg, Embermane and Hellion. Gnasher does not have unique effect what is a problem, but on the other hand includes anger enhancer of the hunter that gives us a higher percentage against angry behemoths. Raging Blade is the best neutral sword. It is not that they are the most suitable to choose since they are neutral and do not have unique effects, but between the Gnasher, Quillshot and Shrike we consider that the best is the first. We have compiled a list with the best swords in each element. The best swords of each elementĪs we already know there are different magical elements in dauntless that allow us to attack the weaknesses of each behemoth. All swords have a damage bonification against weaknesses and a damage reduction against resistances. Remember that all weapons, except the Training Sword and Recruit weapons, start with an attack power of 100 and can go up to 550 improving the weapon. Combo elemental chain: heavy attack x2, pause, heavy attack until you consume your energy.Elemental shot combo: light attack x3, heavy attack x2.Heavy Attack: does the basic weapon damage + the corresponding elemental damage.Light attack: charge the special meter quickly. However, you must bear in mind that against enemies with shells, such as Skarn, it loses effectiveness if you don’t hit unprotected parts. I don't want to take the time to calculate my strikes just to land a guaranteed critical. The specialty of this type of weapon is cutting off parts of the Behemoth. It gets the job done, and that's all I care about. Too much sustain right? Well with this build, I can clear every Heroic Escalation solo without fail. Running all survival with little to no DPS? Then understand that you'll be taking a little longer to kill something. Running a full DPS build with little to no survivability cells? Don't complain when you die in one hit (unless it's lag, then you can complain). Dying too much? Review your mistakes and learn to dodge attacks. Other players bringing you down? Go private. If it helps you defeat the behemoth, run whatever you want. Outside of these two instances, the Meta doesn't matter at all. Heroic escalations with randoms especially Frost Escalation because time is working against you and you need to speed run it to make sure you don't fail via Frostbite. You're doing trials where you're aiming to get on the leaderboards. Here's my take on Meta builds: There are only two instances where they matter: Ingore any grammer errors, I suck at writing. Honestly this is probably just a me problem, but whatever. Such as survivability, and sometimes that can be more useful than completly maxed dps. In my opinion there is more to builds and Omnicells then dps. Oh, don't use Iceborne, it hurts your dps. Its like here is the best Discipline build, but if you get hit your screwed. They also expect everyone to be prefect at dodging. I hate that in the Dauntless Meta a omnicell is only recognized by how much dps it can do. Now this next problem is probably just me, and I feel like everyone's gonna call me dumb. Your telling me that you should run Pulse/Cunning with Savage Wellspring? If you crit every 5 hits, they why do you need to increase your crit chance by an extra 30%!? Honestly though some of them are a little redundant with Cells. I took up war pike, and thought I would look at the "Meta" builds for War Pike with Iceborne in the Discord. I am an ex-chainblade player who stopped after the refresh. I saw another post about this, but I also want to vent my frustration with Dauntless Meta builds.
